We understand our customer, their challenges and their needs. From
the beginning, the Pixalere project team works closely with the end
user to create a customized product that suits the specific needs of
their organization. From the initial requirements gathering to the
implementation and training, our clinical staff monitors the
development phase of the project to ensure that we provide a product
that meets or exceeds the expectations of the end user. Because we
understand that Pixalere is a new method of providing treatment, our
expert trainers provide tailored education sessions to ensure that
the care provider is equipped with the knowledge required to use the
new tool in their arsenal of care. Our training is complimented by
product support representatives with backgrounds in both nursing and
technology who understand our customer and their needs. The result
is a wound management tool that is uniquely focused on the health
and well being of patients. |

Pixalere
In Kenya
In 2003, a physician from British Columbia was able to use Pixalere
technology to transfer images of burn victims in Kenya to colleagues
at MSA Hospital in Abbotsford, BC. The use of Pixalere enabled
collaboration and treatment advice to be administered remotely, by
specialists in the treatment of burn wounds; Pixalere was the
vehicle for transfer of digital images and written observations from
the on-sight physician, and then the subsequent treatment
recommendations from the specialists in BC.
In Kenya, the use of Pixalere provided access to specialists where
previously there was none, improving the quality of care that was
delivered and the ability of the patient’s wounds to heal.
